The Broken Hill Community Credit Union Ltd commenced its operations in 1974 with only the help of volunteers and the guidance of the Association of New South Wales Credit Unions. It has grown to be the largest (in terms of staff employed) financial institution in Broken Hill. As of today, this Credit Union employs 19 Staff that are dedicated to providing excellent service and products to its 8,000 members. With total assets of approximately $60 million, a strong liquidity position and an excellent capital base, BHCCU is a positive and co-operative community partner.
